Older Toddler Room

Our Older toddler room continues to embrace learning by playing. This room is also divided in two to support children where they are developmentally. Children will begin to work in small groups to support those social skills. They will learn to share, build and socially grow through the intentional and thoughtful experiences provided by our experienced teachers. This is the room when we begin potty training. When you feel your child is ready for potty training, our teachers will work with you closely to make sure there is consistency both at home and at school.
Growing and learning through play!
Children will be encouraged to seek out books and explore them independently. Teachers will begin to introduce letters and their sounds, along with name recognition. Children will be working on sorting by all different means along with shapes and colors. Teachers will engage your older toddlers in rhyming and alliteration through stories and songs. This is an exciting age, where children are eager to explore and learn both independently and as a group.
