Pre-K Room

Our Pre-K program was created with the Parkland School District Kindergarten curriculum in mind. We focus on concepts that our 4 year old's will need to know to succeed throughout school. In addition to the curriculum, our teachers make sure that their students have fun every day. We are always learning and exploring together and creating new adventures. 

• Alphabet recognition and sound

• Rhyming words

• Importance of sequencing in a story

• Remembering the order of events

• Encouraging them to come up with ideas for what will happen next

• Learning and Recognizing sight words

• Mathematical thinking and expression

• Number counting up to 20

• Identification of numbers from zero through 10

• Counting of number sets

• Identification of sets that are greater than or less than the other

• Addition and subtraction using objects in a set
